ICA&D had the opportunity to virtually present on a workshop organized by SADC named: Capacity-building for Member States on homogenisation of climate data and workshop to initiate harmonisation of Climate Data Management System (CDMS) in the SADC region held from 31 July - 5 of August in Johannesburg, South Africa. Delegates are present from all member state countries. Else van den Besselaar and Marlies van der Schee presented on the background of ICA&D ,the support KNMI can give to implement ICA&D in the SADC region and showed the participants different features from the website https://southern-africa.icad-wmo.org/. After the presentation, the participants and ICA&D team discussed, among other, the possibility to make indices from the daily observational data downloadable for the public, while the raw observations remain un-downloadable.
